2022 Fresno High Tree Lighting

The 30th Fresno High tree lighting will be December 1 from 5:30 pm-6:30 pm. There will be entertainment in front of Royce Hall at the school and Santa will arrive at 6:30 pm to conduct the tree lighting.

Fall & Halloween Yard Contest

If you live between the area of Olive and Shields and College and Thorne, you are eligible to enter this year’s Fall/Halloween outdoor decorating contest. Your decorated yard will be judged by members of the Home Tour committee as well as members of the community. All you need to do is register your home by October 21 by sending an email to the email below. There is no cost to enter the contest.

30 Years of History

The home tour really had its beginnings in 1992. That was the first tree lighting held at Fresno High. It began as an effort to create a more positive connection between the neighborhood and the high school.

Carol Mills

Long-time FUSD trustee Carol Mills passed away on July 21, 2021 from complications of ALS. School board trustees are elected to advocate for the school community they represent. Carol went above and beyond what she was required to do.

We’re Back

We’re back! And it’s our Silver Anniversary. This year’s tour will be Monday, November 29 from 5-9. We’ve added a special pre-tour event that will be held at Gazebo Gardens from 4-8 featuring food trucks, music and the beer garden.

In the past we have hired a company to put up the holiday decorations on Van Ness but that company has now gone out of business. So two of our intrepid neighborhood guys decided to hang the decorations themselves.
