Another Year — Home Tour 2025 Recap

This was the 29th year of the Fresno High Home Tour. Like every year, the historic homes in our neighborhood were all unique. We are so grateful to those homeowners who opened their homes to us this year. Thank you.
As an added treat, our tourgoers were allowed into the new gym at Fresno High before it has even opened officially. And it is beautiful. Thanks to the staff and students who guided folks through the gym and the Fresno High band which provided holiday music throughout the tour. We also want to acknowledge the band boosters who sold treats and hot drinks in the new snack bar.
This is our second year using Square and we loved it. Folks just need to be reminded that online tickets are receipts. Paper tickets will not be mailed out. To get information about the homes, tourgoers need to go to our website. We do want to thank Gazebo Gardens and Moto for selling paper tickets for us.
It was also our second year with the trolley. A big thanks to Annalisa Perea’s office for providing the trolley and to Mark Rivera from Fresno High who was the ride along docent.
Lastly, we want to thank Kyra Orgill and the student senators from Fresno High. Thank you as well to the Fresno High musicians. The students and their teachers are what makes the tour so special. The tourgoers love them.

We are also working with Annalisa Perea’s office and the Tower District Preservation Association to repaint the lampposts down Van Ness, Weldon and in front of Fresno High. We also hope to replace at least some of our decades old lamppost holiday decorations. We’ll keep you posted.
We are a volunteer, non-profit organization made up of neighbors in the Fresno High area. Last year we were able to give out 14 scholarships to Fresno High seniors. It is only through funds raised by the tour and scholarship sponsors that we are able to do that. For more information, email us at thefhshometour@gmail.com.
Next year’s tour is Monday, December 7. It’s our 30th year and it’s going to be a great one. See you then!
